This mosque stands amongst the kampongs of Luar Batang, North Jakarta, which previously residential area of the Javanese outside the city of Batavia wall. It was built in 1739. Every Mauled, commemorating the birthday of Prophet Muhammad SAW, many people both from this surrounding and from outside, came for devotional visit to this sacred mosque.
